Gerardo's Notes: Along with the somewhat stronger St. Magdalener, Kalterersee represents a second cru site of Vernatsch in South Tyrol. The classic cultivation zone extends around the eponymous Kalterersee in the south of South Tyrol. This particularly warm site, influenced by the lake, produces velvety and light red wines with supple tannins.
