Interesting cuveé of Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet-Franc: Deep, concentrated ruby red in the glass. Rosatum - 'Rose wine' was the name given in ancient Rome to the wine scented with rose oil. Extremely low yields produce a ripe rose aroma with silky richness. This sweet wine, produced only in extremely small quantities, beguiles with a seductive and flattering bouquet: intense aromas of fragrant rose petals and red berry fruits. The namesake giants are a reference to the giants of Mont'e Prama, formerly freestanding sandstone cult statues of the Sardinian nuragic culture. In 1974, the farmer Sisinnio Poddi plowed out the head of one of these statues on the Sinis Peninsula. The forty years of excavation campaigns brought to light other statues, nuraghe models and wall remains. The age of the giants of Mont'e Prama indicates that the oldest free-standing large sculpture in Europe was created in Sardinia, even before a similar development began in Greece.

Guardiola is one of the most famous top vineyards on the northeast slope of Mount Etna. The vines, with roots on average 150 years old, are located at an altitude of 900 to 1,000 meters on terraces bordered by dry stone walls, a total of two hectares. They are surrounded by scrub and trees, a picture of absolute scenic beauty.

The name derives from the medieval name 'San Zoveto' for Sangiovese. Of intense ruby red color and purple reflections in the glass. Lis Neris · Rosso Venezia Giulia IGT 2016

This wine began its journey in 1989 and is as free to develop its potential today as it was then. It is produced only in the best vintages. Lis Neris is the winery's flagship red wine. It stands out for its Bordeaux profile (Merlot 90-95% and Cabernet Sauvignon 5-10%) and its pure Friulian character. A warm and rich wine with refined tannins and a very long finish. Calle Merlot IGT 2016 (Bio)

Intense ruby color, a pleasantly velvety wine with notes of ripe red fruits, light hints of leather, truffle and licorice. With great body and structure, it is a rich but balanced Merlot, enveloping and powerful.

Calle was born in the nineties from the rooted cuttings of Orgno, the first vineyard where the Fasoli brothers experimented the practices of natural farming. Montebello · Rosso Toscana IGT 2016

The particular elegance and depth of this wine is given by the complex harmony of the nine grape varieties; the intensity, balance and harmony make it immediately enjoyable and long-lasting.

The soils of Monti in Chianti, calcareous clay of medium structure and the perfect location of the hill of Montebello give this wine strength and elegance. Nine historic grape varieties: Mammolo, Ciliegiolo, Pugnitello, Colorino, Sanforte, Malvasia Nera, Canaiolo, Foglia Tonda, Sangiovese. Each grape variety is vinified separately and aged in small barrels in the cellar, located in the heart of the vineyards, before being blended. "The 2009 Graticciaia is one of the most distinctive wines to emerge from Puglia today. Fruit is sourced from ancient alberello or head-pruned vines and is air-dried on straw mats (called 'graticci' in Italian) for up to three weeks. Stylistically, the wine shares many of the dried fruit characteristics of Amarone from Northern Italy. This expression of Negroamaro delivers dark fruit aromas of prune, raisin, scorched earth and burnt almond shell. It ages in Allier and Never barrique for one year. The charred notes are very strong and come in stark contrast to the very noticeable jammy sweetness that this wine delivers to the palate. The finish is chewy, soft and very ripe.

Vallone is responsible for the only 'aia' wine of Puglia this is loosely inspired by the great 'aia' wines of Tuscany (Solaia, Ornellaia and Sassicaia) in terms of intensity and pedigree. But the winemaking methodology is completely different here. Vallone's Graticciaia is made with air-dried fruit similar to Amarone della Valpolicella. Castellaccio · Rosso di Toscana MAGNUM IGT 2016 (1er Holzkiste)

Barrel-aged Castellaccio is made from 60% Sangiovese, the indigenous grape variety, and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination, now firmly established in central Italy, has earned the wine the nickname 'Supertuscan'.

Coniale · Cabernet Sauvignon IGT 2016

Since the 70s in Tuscany is also extremely successful Cabernet cultivation. Coniale is such a pure Cabernet Sauvignon which was aged for several months in barrique barrels. Full of aromas of elderberry and blackberry. Dense and juicy on the palate, followed by a nice cherry note and spicy finish.

Owner Paolo Panerai follows the ideal of traditional Chianti; international grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet are not to be found there. Father Pietro dal Cero is dedicated this excellent Amarone, as a sign of reflection on its own roots, culture and history of the area. The siblings Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria dal Cero have recently acquired vineyards in Valpolicella to realize this dream there.

In the glass, this extract-rich wine shows through dark and complex ruby red. On the palate, lush fruit flavors, fine tart morello cherry mingle with chocolate to create spicy sweetness.
