Bachmann · Pinot-Nero Riserva DOC 2019

  The “Bachmann” Pinot Nero Riserva from the Bolzano Winery is a red wine that embodies the alpine elegance of South Tyrol. The grapes come from steep slopes around Bolzano, where the vines thrive on limestone and porphyry soils. After harvesting, maceration takes place, followed by twelve months of aging in barrique barrels, which gives the wine additional structure and complexity.

In the glass, the “Bachmann” Pinot Noir Riserva presents itself in a deep ruby red. The bouquet unfolds aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, accompanied by spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves, as well as a hint of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with velvety tannins and an elegant structure that gives it remarkable length.
