Huck am Bach St. Magdalener Classico DOC 2021

The carefully selected grapes for the 'Huck am Bach' come from the vineyards of the same name near St. Maddalena. This typical South Tyrolean cuvee of predominantly Vernatsch and some Lagrein stands for sophisticated, yet light enjoyment. The nose is floral, with a subtle almond tone and hints of violets and red cherries. Full-bodied on the palate with only a few very velvety bitters. - Gerardo
Gerardo's Notes: 'The grapes for 'Huck am Bach' grow on slopes between 250 and 500 meters above sea level in the hillside areas of the St. Magdalener region above Bolzano and ripen into a medium-bodied red wine, with fruity and floral notes, that goes well with many dishes of South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine. The grapes are rooted in gravelly soils above Bolzano in St. Madgalena and produce a full-bodied and velvety wine with typical violet and almond aromas.
