St. Magdalener Classico Huck am Bach is made from the best grapes from the vineyards of the same name near St. Maddalena. This typical South Tyrolean cuvée, which consists mainly of Vernatsch and a small proportion of Lagrein, offers a sophisticated yet light wine enjoyment. The nose reveals a floral bouquet with a fine almond note, complemented by aromas of violets and cherries. Gerardo's Notes: The grapes for 'Huck am Bach' grow on slopes between 250 and 500 meters above sea level in the hillside areas of the St. Magdalener region above Bolzano and ripen into a medium-bodied red wine, with fruity and floral notes, that goes well with many dishes of South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine. The grapes are rooted in gravelly soils above Bolzano in St. Madgalena and produce a full-bodied and velvety wine with typical violet and almond aromas.
