Intense golden yellow with aromas of citrus, peach and salty minerality. The wine presents itself elegant and has a complex structure with pronounced minerality. The finish is long and saliva stimulating. This wine accompanies with elegance fine dishes, fish, but also white meat. - Gerardo [TS11/21]
Gerardo's Notes: Years of extensive research and countless tests by means of aging smallest quantities of wine were the cornerstone for this wine. The grapes for this wine come from 2 selected plots in the single vineyard Girlan, located on the hills Gschleier and Schreckbichl between 450-500m a.s.l. The vineyards are oriented to the east and west respectively and cover a total area of 1 ha. The 20-25 year old vines grow on poor and gravelly soils, formed by moraine deposits on volcanic porphyry rock.
