"Schiava grown in pergola vineyards of around 30 years old in Girlan and Colterenzio at an elevation of 450 m above sea level on morainic soils. Fermented in stainless steel and MLF in large oak barrels in which it was aged for five months. Just mid ruby. Ripe raspberry nose with plenty of depth and with hints of cherry liqueur and what looks like oak. Racy savoury raspberry fruit with a layer of grainy tannins adding lots of interest.
