  The “Aimé” Gewürztraminer from Kellerei Girlan is an impressive tribute to the traditional heritage of the variety and the South Tyrol region. Made from 100% Gewürztraminer, this wine clearly expresses its origins: the grapes come from steep slopes between 250 and 550 meters above sea level in the Überetsch/Unterland region—slopes with calcareous and clay-rich soils that promote both aroma development and minerality. After hand-picking, the grapes undergo light maceration and whole-cluster pressing, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation and aging on the fine lees for around six months in stainless steel, without malolactic fermentation.

In the glass, “Aimé” displays a light golden yellow color with inviting reflections. On the nose, it opens with a complex bouquet of rose petals, lychee, ripe peach, mango, and oriental spices—a classic yet modern interpretation of the Gewürztraminer profile. On the palate, it has a creamy texture, generous fruitiness, yet an elegant freshness and salty minerality, supported by subtly integrated residual sweetness.
