Kellerei Girlan, South Tyrol
Named after the wine village of Tramin, the reddish grapes of Gewürztraminer produce a white wine full of character: its intense and aromatic fragrance and its full and smooth taste call for dishes of a rather strong nature. We recommend it with shellfish, spicy cheeses and desserts such as strudel. Very interesting also with spicy dishes and sweet and sour creations with Asian influence. - Gerardo [TS06/23]
