Cabernet-Sauvignon DOC 2022

  The Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tramin Winery is a powerful yet elegant red wine that reflects the characteristic features of this noble grape variety in an alpine terroir. The grapes thrive at altitudes between 250 and 350 meters above sea level, on calcareous clay soils that give the wine a special minerality. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are destemmed and fermented at a controlled temperature in concrete tanks, where malolactic fermentation takes place. Aging in large oak barrels rounds off the profile and gives the wine additional depth and complexity.

In the glass, the wine presents itself in a deep, intense red that underscores its structure and concentration. The bouquet unfolds aromas of ripe blackcurrants and blackberries, accompanied by spicy notes such as green pepper and a hint of vanilla, which come from the barrique aging. On the palate, the Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and well-structured, with velvety tannins and a balanced freshness.
