Moriz · Pinot-Bianco DOC 2024

  The “Moriz” Pinot Bianco from the Tramin Winery is an elegant expression of the South Tyrolean terroir, which is characterized by a combination of alpine climate and calcareous soils. The vines thrive at altitudes between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, where the grapes benefit from cool fall winds at night that preserve their freshness. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation to preserve their natural freshness. A small portion of the wine is aged in large oak barrels, which gives it additional complexity.

In the glass, the “Moriz” presents itself in a bright, greenish shimmering straw yellow. The bouquet unfolds with fine aromas of ripe pear, citrus fruits, and a hint of dried fruit, accompanied by a subtle buttery note. On the palate, the wine shows remarkable freshness and fullness, supported by a precise minerality that harmoniously carries the aromas.
