Pepi · Sauvignon DOC 2023

  The “Pepi” Sauvignon from the Tramin Winery is a lively masterpiece that embodies the alpine freshness of South Tyrol. Its name refers to the historic Penon and Pinzon vineyards, which are renowned for their Sauvignon grapes. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in small stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for six months on the fine lees in wooden barrels, without malolactic fermentation, in order to preserve its natural freshness.

In the glass, “Pepi” presents itself in a bright yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet unfolds intensely, with floral notes of elderflower and nettle combining with spicy hints of paprika and green gooseberries. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly fresh and aromatic, with a lively acidity that harmoniously supports the flavors. This Sauvignon is an excellent accompaniment to light fish dishes, asparagus, or as an aperitif.
