Festival · Pinot-Grigio DOC 2024

  The “Festival” Pinot Grigio from the Merano Winery is a stylish tribute to the Pinot Grigio grape and its special location in the Merano region. Grown on humus-rich, slightly loamy sandy and granite soils in the vineyards of Marling and Merano, it benefits from both the alpine altitude and the Mediterranean sun. The grapes undergo a short cold maceration of about twelve hours, followed by gentle pressing and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks; the wine is then aged on the fine lees for several months—a process that clearly expresses its freshness, structure, and origin.

In the glass, this Pinot Grigio displays a light yellowish-green hue, a first sign of its liveliness and the skill of the winemaker. The nose is carried by aromas of green apples and bananas, underpinned by fine citrus and mineral notes - clear yet multifaceted. On the palate, this fruity lightness is combined with a balanced texture and a noticeable minerality: the finish is clean and inviting.
