  The Merano Vernatsch DOC “Festival” from the Merano Winery is a lively tribute to the indigenous Vernatsch grape and the terroir around Merano. The vines are rooted on sunny slopes with permeable moraine debris, a distinctive soil structure that combines lightness and origin in this wine. After selective hand harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by biological acid reduction and a short period of storage on the fine lees—steps that give it clarity, freshness, and subtle depth.

In the glass, this Vernatsch reveals a light ruby red color with subtle violet reflections, a visual promise of its elegant character. The nose unfolds aromas of raspberry, cherry, and violet, accompanied by a light herbal spice that evokes the southern Alpine environment.
