The South Tyrolean Pinot Gris shines in a brilliant ruby red with delicate violet reflections. A finely nuanced aroma of juicy cherries, red berries and a hint of violets unfolds on the nose. Fine spicy accents of cinnamon, almonds and a hint of marzipan lend the bouquet additional depth and elegance.
On the palate, this traditional Vernatsch shows its particularly harmonious side: velvety-soft with a pleasant fruity sweetness, accompanied by a lively but well-integrated acidity. The fine, supple tannins ensure a balanced structure and a round, inviting finish. A typical South Tyrolean red wine that impresses with its lightness and finesse. - Gerardo [TS10/23]
