The Kalterersee Auslese shines in a clear, bright ruby red with delicate violet reflections. Its bouquet is inviting and typical of the Vernatsch grape variety: fruity, fresh and playful. Aromas of juicy, ripe cherries dominate, accompanied by subtle hints of violets and red berries, which lend the wine an elegant lightness.
On the palate, this classic South Tyrolean red wine shows its charming side - youthful, lively and wonderfully drinkable. The velvety, soft tannins provide a balanced structure, while the harmonious acidity gives the wine freshness and finesse. A fine hint of bitter almond on the finish rounds off the taste experience perfectly and gives it a pleasantly spicy note.
