Klosteranger is the heart of Muri-Gries, a historic single vineyard site protected by the ancient walls of the monastery. Here the Lagrein Riserva vineyard Klosteranger thrives in the best terroir: an expressive site wine as a result of an authentic interpretation of terroir and grape variety, concentrated and straightforward. With it we recommend braised game dishes, but also tender roast beef, the classic Sunday roast, a Martinigansl or spicy cheese dishes. - Gerardo [TS06/21]
