St. Magdalener from Pfannenstielhof is a fresh, fruity, pleasant and very accessible wine. Nevertheless, it is complex, juicy, full-bodied and delicately spicy. Gerardo's Notes: This light redwine grows in the classic St. Magdalener growing area on well-aerated, heat-retaining moraine debris soils of porphyry and dolomite material. The Vernatsch grapes grow as a mixed set with about 5% Lagrein traditionally on pergola and are harvested and fermented together.
