Annver · St. Magdalener Classico DOC 2023

  The “St. Magdalener ANNVER” from the Pfannenstielhof is a tribute to two younger generations of winegrowers - named after the daughters Anna and Veronika, yet deeply rooted in the tradition of the region. This red wine cuvée is based on approximately 95% Vernatsch and 5% Lagrein and grows on the classic moraine and porphyry soils around Bolzano, giving it an elegant minerality and an ever-accessible temperament. The maturation process is particularly noteworthy: 18 months in stainless steel tanks, followed by six months of bottle aging - making Annver almost a Riserva.

In the glass, Annver presents itself in a deep ruby red. On the nose, it unfolds aromas of ripe cherries, delicate violets, and subtle notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, flanked by dark chocolate and red forest fruits—an ensemble of scents that displays both playfulness and depth. On the palate, this wine impresses with its remarkable balance: the fruit remains clear and juicy, the tannins delicate, the texture soft and elegant at the same time.
