Gerardo's Notes: 'The Cannonau grapes of this Cru version come from the vineyards of Maristella and Guardia Grande. The calcareous soil is rich in sand and ferruginous clay, which ensures the best ripening. The wine completes its careful production in wooden wine barrels of Allier. The final refinement in the bottle finally brings out the precious aromas.
