  The “St. Valentin Gewürztraminer” from the St. Michael-Eppan winery is a white wine with unmistakable aromatic richness and alpine origins. Sourced from selected southeast-facing vineyards with calcareous and gravelly soils in Eppan, Kaltern, and the surrounding area, it represents the indigenous variety with great clarity and intensity. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and gently pressed after a short maceration period before fermentation in stainless steel — this preserves the delicate aromas with hints of rose petals, exotic fruits, and oriental spices. On the palate, the wine unfolds a powerful presence, combined with an elegant texture and a long-lasting finish that shows a fine balance between fruitiness and distinguished style.

The name “St. Valentin” refers both to the traditional landscape of South Tyrol and to the high quality of the winery, giving the wine a certain symbolic power. This Gewürztraminer is a top-of-the-range wine in the wine line, considered the flagship and marking the winery's signature in the white wine segment for years.
