The grapes of this modern classic (formerly known as Anger) come from vineyards near St. Michael-Eppan: the color is a brilliant light yellow with a slight greenish tinge. The bouquet opens delicate aromas of ripe pear. In the drink fresh-fruity and well-structured, of fine acidity and persistent finish. - Gerardo [TS06/22]
Gerardo's Notes: 'Depending on the soil conditions and microclimate, Pinot Grigio varies from simple drinking wine to absolute top growth. The warm, sun-exposed vineyards with their loamy limestone gravel soils are a prime example. The South Tyrolean Pinot Grigio Fallwind makes you want to take the next sip with its noble structure, its beautiful balance and a fine play of acidity.
