This Merlot is a great challenge for the top line of the winery St. Michael Eppan: it is the latest addition to the St. Valentin wines. The grapes ripen in the sunniest sites near Kurtatsch and on Lake Kaltern.
The Merlot St. Valentin captivates with its deep dark red, almost impenetrable color. Complex and dense is the bouquet, with aromas of wild berries, blackberries and chocolate. Pleasantly soft tannins, structure, fruit, spice and elegance characterize this wine. - Gerardo [TS06/11]

Gerardo's Notes: Ripe, juicy and spoiled by the sun - this is the only way the black-blue Merlot grapes from the winery's most exposed red wine sites are harvested and vinified into Merlot Stanct Valentin. It was the last great challenge in the top line of the winery St. Michael Eppan and closes as the youngest of the noble red wines the round of absolute quality. Merlot Sanct Valentin shines in the glass with its deep dark red, almost impenetrable color, with fullness, power and fruit. An exclusive wine for exceptional moments.
