The South Tyrolean Pinot Blanc Schulthaus is one of the classics of the St. Michael-Eppan winery and exemplifies the high standard of white wine culture in South Tyrol. In the glass, it presents itself in a clear straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aromatic bouquet unfolds fruity notes of apple, apricot and pear, subtly underlined by delicate cedar wood tones. On the palate, the Schulthauser is supple and finely structured, supported by a lively acidity that gives it freshness and tension.
The grapes for this wine come from the Schulthaus vineyard above Eppan, one of the best sites for Pinot Blanc in the Überetsch region. Grapes with intense aromas and structure are grown here, giving the wine depth and ageability.
