The Pinot Blanc Schulthauser is the absolute star among the wines of the winery St. Michael-Eppan. It is the wine that perhaps most convincingly expresses the quality potential of South Tyrolean white wines as well as the philosophy of the winery.

The grapes of this Weissburgunder come from the single vineyard Schulthaus above Schloss Moos in Eppan Berg.The color in the glass is a lively straw yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet unfolds a wide range of aromas of apple, apricot, pear, and light cedar wood tones. On the palate, the velvety softness as well as the racy acidity keep a perfect balance and underline the power and greatness of this wine. - Gerardo [TS06/21]

Gerardo's Notes: 'Pinot Blanc, South Tyrol's most important grape variety, has awoken from its slumber and become the region's parade wine. Schulthauser is the classic among South Tyrolean Pinot Blancs, it was first vinified and bottled as early as 1986. It is not a loud drop, but a perfect, fine-fruity-fresh Pinot Blanc, which seduces at the same time with creamy softness and racy acidity to enjoy.
