Originally, the idea of processing Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes into high-quality cuvees came from France. In Italy, too, this classic combination enjoys great popularity and produces - as the example of the Sturm family shows - a long-lived red wine with a strong character:
The color of Andritz Rosso is a bright ruby red with violet inclusions. A broad spectrum of aromas opens up on the nose: ripe, red fruits peppered with exotic spices, plus intense notes of dried fruit and licorice. On the palate, this flagship red wine from Sturm proves to be exceedingly complex, intense and harmonious. Notes of blueberries, cooked plums, dried figs, coffee and cocoa conclude the long-lasting finish. - Gerardo
