The Chardonnay Andritz is a prime example of international elegance, masterfully executed with an unmistakable terroir. The nose combines aromas of juicy apples, fresh bread crust, fine mineral stone and a hint of vanilla. Floral notes of acacia blossom, ripe apples and subtle almond kernels continue on the palate and characterize the long, harmonious finish. This special Chardonnay bears the name Andritz as a tribute to the place of origin of the Sturm family, whose roots lie in Styria, from where their ancestors came to Collio over a century ago to continue their winemaking tradition. - Gerardo [TS10/24]
