© www.tenutalequinte.com Cesanese is one of the ancient native grape varieties of Lazio and is grown almost exclusively near Rome, as well as in the provinces of Latina and Frosinone. Today this red grape variety is found less and less frequently, although it produces interesting and high quality wines. 'Primula Lucis' is a fine example of dry Cesanese with the typical aromas of cinnamon and black cherries. Great companion to pasta and cheese dishes, unbeaten with tonnarelli and chicory. - Gerardo [TS06/19]
