  The labels of Tenuta Marilù wines feature various protective symbols as a central design element, which directly refer to the Apulian tradition of building protection. Inspired by the small whitewashed round houses with conical roofs, the trulli, whose entrances are often marked with symbolic signs, Tenuta Marilù uses this very motif as a visible trademark. These symbols, as found above the doorways of the trulli, traditionally served not only as decoration but also as protection—they stood for blessings, warding off evil, or auspicious wishes for the house. By using such symbols on its bottle labels, the winery transfers an architecturally grounded symbol of home directly into the glass and thus into the world.

This not only makes the origin visible, but also tells a story of protection, craftsmanship, and regional identity. The combination of the confidently designed label and the historically charged protective symbol makes each bottle a little ambassador for Apulia - and a statement that wine here is not only made from grapes, but from a wealth of tradition, symbolism, and territorial roots.
