Gerardo's Notes: 'Satèn is always a little milder and more delicate than the other Franciacorta varieties, while being no less interesting. The vineyard district is exclusively planted with Chardonnay and is divided into the Novali, Favento, Ai Prati, Pole and Ciochet areas. These are located on hilly terrain with morainic subsoil of fluvial erosion. Fine to oysters!
