The mild Satèn Franciacorta shows itself with discreet, persistent perlage. On the nose, ripe fruit, rose petals and citrus aromas. Dry and pleasant on the palate, with feminine features. Great as an aperitif or accompaniment to seafood. - Gerardo [TS12/24]

Gerardo's Notes: Satèn is always a little milder and more delicate than the other Franciacorta varieties, while being no less interesting. The vineyard district is exclusively planted with Chardonnay and is divided into the Novali, Favento, Ai Prati, Pole and Ciochet areas. These are located on hilly terrain with morainic subsoil of fluvial erosion. Fine to oysters!
