This blend of Fiano Minutolo and Greco Bianco is characterized by freshness and lightness. This lovely white wine combines crisp and clean aromas with concentration and length. Aromas of nectarines, ripe pears, orange blossom, white peaches and hints of jasmine. - Gerardo [TS02/24]

A single varietal Primitivo of strong color with exuberant aroma of ripe red and black berry fruits, with spicy notes. The late harvested grapes ripen and dry on the vine until they partially rosin. Thus made in the style of an appassimento, it is concentrated and opulent on the palate, with great balance. It is elegant, velvety and smooth, with a long finish. - Gerardo [TS02/21]

Deep purple-black in the glass. Intense aromas of blackberry and chocolate are accompanied by blueberry scents, violets, flowers, crème de cassis and Mediterranean herbs. "Susumaniello is a rare, ancient Apulian red grape variety grown in the Salento peninsula. Its name comes from the local dialect and means 'little donkey'. Old people told us that the name comes from the enormous load the vines carry when they are young, so heavy that they can only be carried by a donkey, but others say it is so named because it is as difficult to handle as a donkey.'Finally we have a grape with the same personality as the winemaker,' Elvi said to me.... (I hope she meant hardworking and reliable, but maybe she meant stubborn). I could not resist the challenge of working with this precious and unique variety.
