Rosatum Südtiroler Rosenmuskateller DOC 2013

Rosatum - 'Rose wine' was the name given in ancient Rome to the wine scented with rose oil. Extremely low yields produce a ripe rose aroma with silky richness. This sweet wine, produced only in extremely small quantities, beguiles with a seductive and flattering bouquet: intense aromas of fragrant rose petals and red berry fruits. Pratum Terlaner Weißburgunder DOC 2013

The grapes for the Terlan Pinot Blanc 'Pratum' come from the oldest vines of the Prey site, whose name derives from the Latin pratum. They thrive there at 550 meters above sea level on porphyry gravel and Grödner sandstone. Two thirds are aged for 9 months in stainless steel barrels while the remaining third is aged for the same time in French tonneaux barrels. The color of the wine is a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose there are aromas of peach, exotic fruits and vanilla. On the palate, this Pinot Blanc presents minerality with balanced acidity and a long finish. - Gerardo

This is a steady and true wine that offers variety-specific tones of pear, Golden Delicious apple, pine nut and honey. Picus Rosso Piceno Superiore MAGNUM DOC 2013

The modern designed Rosso Piceno 'Picus' presents itself youthful and powerful: deep red color with only slightly brightening edges in the glass. The aroma carousel ranges from ripe cherries and noble plum to sweet cinnamon stick and black pepper. Titolo Aglianico del Vulture DOC 2013

Titolo is the result of the Fucci family's still young viticultural project. Together with her father Salvatore, Elena Fucci has created something impressive: This single-varietal Aglianico exudes a beguiling, ethereal aroma with distinct spicy notes. Pronounced, voluminous flavors of sour cherries, currants, rosemary and cinnamon followed by slight hints of vanilla. Soft and dry of great structure and excellent length. - Gerardo

Barolo Castellero DOCG 2013

The grapes for Barolo Castellero come from the Cannubi and Sarmassa sites, but are vinified into Barolo only in the best years. The color is a saturated ruby red with garnet inclusions. Pietro dal Cero Amarone della Valpolicella DOC 2013

Father Pietro dal Cero is dedicated this excellent Amarone, as a sign of reflection on its own roots, culture and history of the area. The siblings Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria dal Cero have recently acquired vineyards in Valpolicella to realize this dream there.

In the glass, this extract-rich wine shows through dark and complex ruby red. On the palate, lush fruit flavors, fine tart morello cherry mingle with chocolate to create spicy sweetness. This Amarone unfolds a powerful aromatic interplay of balsamic notes with hints of star anise and wild mint. The subtle harmonic tertiary aromas hint at sweet tobacco and coffee. - Gerardo

Sande Pinot-Nero IGT 2013

Intense ruby color, nose present aromas of plum and rum pot, typical of dried grapes. Harmoniously combines spicy notes with hints of ripe red fruit. The fine and persistent tannins balance the high alcohol content and provide an overall very persistent finish.

The history of Pinot Noir Sande dates back to the late 80s. The extremely low yields due to the cultivation create a grape material that has an exceptionally high concentration of sugar and aromas. Subsequent grape drying further concentrates the full aromatic potential of the fruit, creating a unique wine in its category. - Gerardo

Barolo Riserva MAGNUM DOCG 2013 (1er Holzkiste)

The Nebbiolo grapes for Renato's Barolo Riserva come from the single vineyard Vecchie Vigne, whose planting dates back to 1960. After maceration for 7 days, the wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by two years of bottle aging. Renato Corino is extremely consistent in weighing vintage qualities and develops his Barolo into a Riserva only in the very best years. Waiting times of more than five years are therefore not uncommon.

In the glass, this modern Barolo shows an intense garnet red color. In the fragrance of violets, cherry fruit and cloves. Accompanied by wood tones such as cigar box and tobacco and subtle ethereal notes. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, always fresh and elegant.
