Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC 2013

Always produced in small quantities, Vin Santo is the typical and traditional dessert wine of Tuscany. Intense red-gold color with bright maroon reflections. The grapes for Barolo Castellero come from the Cannubi and Sarmassa sites, but are vinified into Barolo only in the best years. The color is a saturated ruby red with garnet inclusions. Pale straw yellow with bright reflections and fine-mesh perlage. The wide-ranging aroma extends from bergamot to citrus to gooseberry. Isolated impressions of toasted hazelnuts, roasted coffee and bread crust. On the palate of aristocratic structure, fresh and with noticeable mineral notes, persistent finish. - Gerardo [TS12/14]

Sande · Pinot-Nero IGT 2013

Intense ruby color, nose present aromas of plum and rum pot, typical of dried grapes. Harmoniously combines spicy notes with hints of ripe red fruit. The fine and persistent tannins balance the high alcohol content and provide an overall very persistent finish.

The history of Pinot Noir Sande dates back to the late 80s. The extremely low yields due to the cultivation create a grape material that has an exceptionally high concentration of sugar and aromas. In the glass, this extract-rich wine shows through dark and complex ruby red. On the palate, lush fruit flavors, fine tart morello cherry mingle with chocolate to create spicy sweetness.
