This Vin Santo is made from selected Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes according to traditional methods: After harvesting, the grapes are dried and fermentation is slow and in small oak barrels. The subsequent aging and bottle aging is five years.

Alta Mora Guardiola · Etna Rosso DOC 2015

Guardiola is one of the most famous top vineyards on the northeast slope of Mount Etna. The vines, with roots on average 150 years old, are located at an altitude of 900 to 1,000 meters on terraces bordered by dry stone walls, a total of two hectares. They are surrounded by scrub and trees, a picture of absolute scenic beauty.

Always a premiere is the Amarone 'Ripa della Volta' (Valley of the Gods), from the second estate of the Montresor family (Ottella). After a long search, new vineyards in the neighboring Valpolicella could be acquired and developed.

The high-quality, chalky soils are similar to those of Burgundy: this unique location, with its microclimate and marl soils - from which the Dolomites were also formed - create the conditions for an honest, sustainable and personal product.
