  The “Barrile” Isola dei Nuraghi from Azienda Vinicola Attilio Contini is a powerful, expressive red wine from Sardinia, whose distinctive feature is the extensive use of the indigenous Nieddera grape variety, complemented by small amounts of Caddiu and other local varieties. Grown on sandy and clay-rich slopes in the Tirso Valley and on the Sinis Peninsula, where salty sea breezes and Mediterranean sun characterize the terroir, the wine undergoes gentle maceration followed by aging in barriques and tonneaux, resulting in a concentrated structure with elegance.

In the glass, the wine shines with a deep ruby color and garnet red glints - a visual promise of depth and richness. The bouquet brings aromas of ripe black cherries, plum compote, licorice, and a hint of leather and graphite, embedded in balsamic spice. On the palate, the Barrile reveals dense fruit, elegant yet present tannins, and a noticeable salty minerality that references the special terroir.
