Great Primitivo of ruby color with garnet reflections in the glass. The aroma is appetizing of ripe fruit and some pepper. The palate is lean, fresh and harmonious with soft tannins. 100% Primitivo. - Gerardo [TS06/19]
Gerardo's Notes: The fully ripe Primitivo grapes are harvested in the first ten days of September. Subsequent gentle destemming and pressing, as well as fermentation and maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for a period of about 20 days, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine stabilizes in cement tanks and ages in bottle for another month.
