This single-varietal Lagrein borrows its name from the Margreider Schuttkegel. These soils are the prerequisite for a fruity and round Lagrein. The color of the Conus is a rich cherry red with ruby reflections. The aroma is of plums as well as some licorice and cocoa. Powerful in the drink, balanced, juicy and rich in tannins.
This organic wine comes in a lightweight glass bottle and has a remarkably low alcohol content with maximum flavor. - Gerardo [TS04/20]
"Bright, rich ruby with delicate purple. In the nose of young cherries, fresh strawberries, raspberries, presents a red berry side. On the palate slightly vegetal with red berry, young melt, very fruity, seems very youthful, strikes crosswise." - Falstaff
