The Kinesis Sauvignon is bright yellow in the glass and develops a delicate bouquet of gooseberry, white flowers, exotic fruits and a subtle spiciness. This aromatic diversity refers to the origin of the grapes: the Höfl unterm Stein vineyard in Tramin, 500 meters above sea level. The limestone-rich gravel soils there provide a powerful structure and striking acidity, giving the wine depth and character.
Twelve hours of cold maceration and five months of ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks give the wine additional texture and expression. On the palate, the Sauvignon is elegant, with lively freshness, a clear line and remarkable length. A multi-layered yet precise wine that impressively reflects the terroir. - Gerardo [TS10/21]
