Four Generations of Winemaking Excellence
Behind the name Giuseppe Campagnola stands a renowned winery and cellar, now operated by the fourth generation of the family in the picturesque Veneto region. The estate’s history stretches back to the 19th century and is marked by passion, expertise, and a relentless pursuit of quality. Today, Campagnola represents tradition, innovation, and a deep connection to the Valpolicella region.

Origins and Development
The roots of the winery date back to 1886, when Carlo Campagnola founded the cellar in Valgatara, a small town in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella. The excellence of the wines was recognized early on: in 1907, the estate received its first official award for the best Recioto sweet wine at the 'Mostra di Campionaria di Verona.'' This recognition marked the beginning of a long and successful journey.

In 1946, Carlo’s son Giuseppe took over and established the current winery on Via Agnella in Valgatara. With dedication and respect for tradition, he began producing and carefully selecting the classic wines of the Verona region. Giuseppe Campagnola placed particular emphasis on sourcing high-quality grapes and preserving regional winemaking traditions.

Quality from the Heart of Valpolicella
The Campagnola winery is located in the heart of the classic Valpolicella growing area, one of Italy’s most famous wine regions. Grapes are sourced from around 50 contract growers, covering a total of 80 hectares of vineyards in the region. Through strict quality selection and close collaboration with local growers, Campagnola succeeds in producing wines of distinctive character and exceptional quality.

In addition to its own vineyards, the winery maintains numerous partnerships with producers in neighboring regions such as Bardolino Classico and Soave. This diversity of growing areas allows Campagnola to offer a broad portfolio of wines that reflect the many facets of Italy’s wine landscape.

Diverse Selection and International Recognition
Alongside its prestigious private selections, Campagnola offers an extensive range of wines from Veneto and other Italian regions. The assortment includes classic reds such as Amarone, Valpolicella, and Ripasso, as well as elegant whites and characterful rosés. Each wine bears the unique signature of the Campagnola family, reflecting the estate’s rich heritage and innovative spirit.

Thanks to ongoing commitment to quality and the fusion of tradition and modernity, Campagnola enjoys international acclaim today. The wines are regularly awarded at fairs and competitions and are cherished by wine enthusiasts worldwide.

Conclusion
The Giuseppe Campagnola winery stands for more than a century of winemaking tradition, combined with innovation and love for the region. With a diverse selection and a steadfast commitment to quality, Campagnola continues to delight wine lovers around the globe and remains a shining example of excellent Italian winemaking. - Gerardo [TS05/25]

"Sometimes platitudes are not tenable after all, such as the one about the incompatibility between class and mass. In Marano, Giuseppe Campagnola processes vast quantities of grapes, only a small part of which, however, comes from his own harvest. The majority comes from contract growers in the Marano Valley, who are supported by the company's employees throughout the season. The extensive range is divided into several lines, with Veronese wines forming the upscale segment." - Gambero Rosso
