Pure-varietal Petit Manseng from South Tyrol, produced in a unique small edition of 2,000 bottles:
Manseng' derives from the Latin 'mansus' and means something like 'noble house'. This little prince has virtually run to the Kaltern winery and found a new home there. The grape variety produces high quality, aromatic white wines and can produce wines with high residual sugar due to prolonged aging on the vine. The nose is dense and rich, with aromas of ripe fruit and strong wood notes. Well structured on the palate, great balance between acidity and fruit sweetness, while wonderfully drinkable.- Gerardo [TS12/20]
