Pinot-Grigio DOC 2022

  The Pinot Grigio from the Girlan Winery in South Tyrol is a classic white wine that embodies the typical characteristics of the region. The grapes come from the high altitudes around Girlan, at around 450 to 500 meters above sea level, where calcareous and clayey soils and the continental climate offer ideal conditions for growing this grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are gently pressed and the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is also aged in stainless steel to preserve its freshness and fruitiness. This Pinot Grigio is characterized by its clear structure, lively acidity, and fine minerality, making it an excellent aperitif or accompaniment to light dishes.

In the glass, Pinot Grigio presents itself in a light straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet is characterized by delicate aromas of green apples, citrus fruits, and a hint of flowers. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with a fine acidity and a pleasant minerality that gives it a certain depth. The finish is harmonious and of medium length.
