  The Hofstatt Pinot Bianco from the Kurtatsch Winery is a vibrant representation of its place of origin: the hamlet of Hofstatt above Kurtatsch lies at an altitude of 500-650 meters on a steep slope with permeable soils composed of dolomite, quartz, mica, and clay minerals. The nightly fall winds bring striking temperature differences between day and night—a condition that clearly imprints this Pinot Blanc with its freshness and origin. The grapes are carefully harvested and vinified with temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by fine yeast storage in large wooden barrels—a concept that combines structure with the original character of the variety.

In the glass, the Hofstatt reveals itself in a brilliant straw yellow with delicate greenish reflections - a visual indication of vitality and style. The nose is dominated by aromas of mountain apple, pear, and lime, complemented by fine lemon balm and alpine herbal notes. On the palate, this fruitiness combines with a salty minerality and smooth texture - the result of the wood aging - while the wine also displays a clear structure and lively freshness.
