Gerardo's Notes: This red also comes from a historic vineyard which was painstakingly recultivated by Librandi: As the 'big brother' of the well-known Ciro, the Asylia Rosso has an intense bouquet of wild berries and fruits. Soft and full-bodied on the palate, the wine is slightly more expressive than the Ciro Rosso. The carefree lightness of the Gaglioppo grapes remains, and the discreet Burgundy-like traits of all Librandi wines are also evident here.
