Fruity and floral, Asylia Rosso is the freshest and most accessible interpretation of the typical Calabrian grape varieties. This pure Gaglioppo is the result of a short maceration, which emphasizes its pleasant fruitiness and directness. It shines ruby red in the glass, accompanied by a bouquet that combines aromas of red and black wild berries with subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it delights with its great freshness, silky texture and harmonious fullness. Gerardo's Notes: Auch dieser Rote stammt aus einem historischem Weinberg welcher in mühevoller Kleinarbeit von Librandi rekultiviert wurde: Als 'großer Bruder' des bekannten Ciro weist der Asylia Rosso ein intensives Bouquet nach Waldbeeren und Früchten auf. Am Gaumen weich und vollmundig, ist der Wein etwas ausdruckstärker als der Ciro Rosso. Die unbeschwerte Leichtigkeit der Gaglioppo Trauben bleibt erhalten, die dezent burgunderhaften Züge aller Librandi Weine sind auch hier erkennbar.
