The Chianti Classico Riserva La Selvanella from Melini is an impressive expression of the top vineyards of Chianti Classico. Made from 100% Sangiovese, it unfolds a complex and nuanced bouquet ranging from ripe cherries and dark berries to subtle notes of spice and tobacco. The elegant structure and velvety tannins give this Riserva depth and character, while the harmonious balance of acidity and fruit make it a full-bodied, warm red wine with great enjoyment potential.
The vineyards of La Selvanella are among the most renowned sites in Chianti Classico and characterize the special quality of this wine. La Selvanella first attracted attention as the first single-vineyard estate in the Chianti category with its 1969 vintage, and this success story continues to this day.
