© www.kellereimeran.it The “Festival” Sauvignon from the Merano Winery is characterized by a distinctly varietal yet regional style: the grapes thrive on the steep east and west slopes around Merano—in places such as Lagundo, Lana, Marlengo, and Cermes—where porous weathered soil and humus-rich moraine debris give the wine a fine mineral base. After cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged on the fine lees for several months, giving it a smooth texture and clear fruitiness.
