Terlaner Weißburgunder DOC 2025

  The Terlaner “Weißburgunder” from the Muri-Gries monastery winery in South Tyrol is a clear expression of Alpine origins and Burgundian precision. The vines are rooted in terraced vineyards around Bolzano on limestone and gravel-rich soils with a mineral foundation—a starting point that favors purity, fruit, and structure in equal measure. In the cellar, the focus is on the variety: after selective harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with a small portion of the aging process carried out in large wooden barrels, so that the fine fruit remains clear, but the wine still gains structure.

In the glass, this Pinot Blanc is a light straw yellow with a delicate greenish shimmer - a visual sign of freshness and style. The nose reveals notes of ripe apple, pear, and delicate citrus fruit, accompanied by hints of almonds and a touch of white pepper - an expression of its stylish origins. On the palate, a smooth texture combines with a lively presence: the wine is balanced and clearly structured, with a mineral backbone and a long, juicy-fresh finish.
