Lagrein has a strong garnet red color. On the nose, this archetypal South Tyrolean red wine is reminiscent of violets, chocolate and cloves, invitingly open and complex. The taste is characterized by bitter almond tones, soft tannins and a rustic elegance. - Gerardo [TS06/23]
