Vernatsch DOC 2022

  The Vernatsch from the Neustift monastery in South Tyrol presents itself in the glass with a clear, light ruby red color, which already gives a hint of the lightness and elegance of this traditional grape variety at first glance. Its bouquet reveals delicate aromas of red berries such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes reminiscent of wildflowers. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with a pleasant acidity and fine tannins that give it a harmonious balance and a long, lingering finish. The delicate nature of Vernatsch makes it an ideal accompaniment to light dishes, but also a wine that can be enjoyed on its own to fully savor its nuanced aromas.
