This powerful red wine is made from the indigenous Friulian grape variety Refosco dal Penduncolo Rosso, which adapts particularly well to the stony soils of the region. It has a deep, ruby red color in the glass and seduces with an intense aroma of red fruit, accompanied by spicy and slightly earthy notes.
On the palate, Refosco is tannic and full-bodied, with a powerful body and a pleasant freshness. This structured wine harmonizes perfectly with hearty meat dishes and local specialities such as pitina from the Tramontina Valley and is also the ideal accompaniment to strong cold cuts. - Gerardo [TS10/23]
