It has a vinous, expressive aroma, reminiscent of the concentrated aroma of black and dark red fruits. On the palate it appears dry with lush, balanced soft, tannic and harmonious structure. The character of this wine is marked not only by its aging in new barriques, but also by its aging in bottle. This wine reveals its full potential only after prolonged aeration, usually for several hours. Then it opens completely and reaches the size of wines that cost many times more, such as Amarone. It should be noted that Vigoroso is not made from dried grapes and, despite its alcohol content, is not a raisin wine. - Gerardo

Gerardo's Notes: According to our definition, a historic wine is a wine in storage with an age of 10 years or more. Such wines require a special handling that begins with the uncorking. The lifting of the cork must be done with a spiral corkscrew and gently. Early uncorking is a must, these red wines are unfiltered and have a high percentage of sediment.
