Cannonau di Sardegna Timbenia is a pure expression of the traditional Cannonau grape variety, whose grapes come from selected vineyards where the soil, climate and vines harmonize perfectly. Its deep ruby red color with garnet reflections is already impressive in the glass - a visual promise of its power and elegance. The nose reveals an intense, multi-layered bouquet with aromas of ripe red fruit, spices and subtle hints of precious wood, which gains additional depth through careful ageing.
On the palate, Timbenia is finely structured, with present, well-integrated tannins and an aromatic length that gives the wine an elegant finish. Its varietal aromas - accompanied by a light spiciness and ripe fruit - give it a remarkable balance. This Cannonau is the perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes such as lamb, braised beef or mature cheese. The calcareous soil is rich in sand and ferruginous clay, which ensures the best ripening. The wine completes its careful production in wooden wine barrels of Allier.
