© www.tenutalevelette.com This classic red wine has always been produced in the Orvieto area, the oldest mention dates back to 1884, and since the mid-nineteenth century the name 'Spicca' identifies one of the plots where the grapes for this wine are grown. It is the companion to typical Orvieto cuisine: rustic first courses, perhaps based on game, but also second courses of medium structure. Excellent also with fresh, salty cheeses such as goat cheese. - Gerardo
