The Luce with its catchy label, is a world famous Sangiovese-Merlot blend with 24 months of barrel aging. The bouquet is floral and reminiscent of violets and roses, the tannic structure is smooth and tightly woven. On the palate, impressions of cocoa and balsamic notes, subtly smoky. For decades, this cuvée has stood for the skillful combination of two world-famous wine-growing countries and cultures: Italy (Sangiovese) and France (Merlot). - Gerardo [TS06/20]
"Dark ruby red. In the nose very expressive, after cassis, ground blueberries, in addition noble wood use, a breath sealing wax, in the reverberation fine malty notes. On the palate with lots of juice and pithy tannin, spreads over the tongue, with beautiful spicy notes, stoffig, in the reverberation then, however, a bit harsh and still very young." - Falstaff
