The Bolgheri Superiore Luce combines Italian and French wine tradition to create a Sangiovese-Merlot blend full of character, which already attracts attention with its iconic label and over 24 months of ageing in barrels. The nose enchants with a floral bouquet of violets and roses, complemented by a harmonious tannin structure that appears both dense and silky-soft. The palate reveals a complex palette of cocoa, fine balsamic notes and a gentle hint of smoke, which lend the wine a subtle, almost ethereal depth. For decades, this cuvée has been a pioneer in the skillful combination of two great wine-growing countries: Italy, represented by Sangiovese, and France, embodied by Merlot.
